This policy covers the Pour app and website, run by Silva Peak Labs LLC.
What we collect
- From Google or Apple sign-in: your name, your email address (Apple may give a private relay address), and the account number Google or Apple uses for you.
- What you enter: bottles, places, pours, scores, notes, and photos of labels and receipts.
- Wine order emails, only if the cellar owner connects Gmail. Pour can only read, not send or change, and it looks only for order emails from a short list of wine shops.
- Purchases: Apple sends us a signed record of each purchase: the product, the dates, and whether it renewed or was refunded. We never see your card.
- Basic logs: when each request was made and the internet address it came from, kept by our hosting providers for security.
- A notification address for your phone, if you turn on reminders.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps.
Who processes it for us
| Provider | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Everything above | Database, photo storage and sign-in |
| Vercel | Requests and logs | Hosting the website and server |
| Anthropic (Claude) | The question you ask the Sommelier and a summary of the bottles it may choose from | The Sommelier |
| OpenAI, through Vercel AI Gateway | Receipt photos you upload, and PDF receipts whose text Pour cannot read on its own | Reading receipts |
| Apple | Sign in with Apple, purchases, and a random number for your cellar's plan | Sign-in and payments |
| Sign in with Google, and Gmail if the cellar owner connects it | Sign-in and reading wine order emails | |
| Expo | Your phone's notification address and the reminder text | Reminders |
| Open Food Facts and Wikimedia Commons | The wine's name and vintage, when Pour looks for a label photo | Label pictures |
If you connect an AI assistant to your cellar, it receives what it reads from your cellar, under that assistant's own terms.
Community and sharing
- New cellars start with community sharing off. The owner can turn it on.
- Pours logged by an assistant are private unless you turn sharing on for that connection.
- A shared pour shows its score and note beside your display name, or "A member" if you have not set one.
- A share link shows one wine: its details, your score, critic and community scores, and its label. It never shows your notes, your name, or how many bottles you have.
Keeping and deleting
- Your data stays while your account exists.
- When you remove your account, your sign-in is deleted and your Sign in with Apple and Gmail connections are revoked right away. Your share links stop and your pours leave the community.
- A cellar with no one left is deleted starting 30 days later, with its photos.
- Purchase records are kept, without the cellar's contents, so you can restore a purchase.
- Logs are kept by our providers for their standard periods.
